The project

V4 Unity is an internal people-ops platform that maps every employee’s culture fit, career ladder, and personal OKRs in one place. Built for the 50 plus team at V4 Company, it replaces scattered spreadsheets with real-time dashboards and actionable check-lists. As the Senior Product Designer, I owned end-to-end UX and UI - from discovery research to the final design system. V4 Unity now gives managers instant visibility into growth gaps while empowering employees to track progress toward promotion.

4-Week Sprint

We started with focused user interviews and market analysis, then turned insights into lean user flows. After validating low-fidelity wireframes in remote tests, we moved into a fast UI and UX design cycle in Figma. Every component was documented in a shared design system and shipped to engineering, keeping the entire team in lockstep from discovery to release.

The modular interface adapts to three role tiers – Analyst, Specialist, and Leader – showing only the actions and insights relevant to each employee while keeping navigation friction-free on both desktop and mobile.

At the same time, the workforce lacked clear visibility into future career trajectories, undermining long-term motivation and development.

My design approach was anchored by a clear set of goals focused on usability, coherence, and speed. Each principle translated into concrete decisions that shaped every pixel and interaction.

  • Consistency – token-based components ensure brand alignment across web and mobile.

  • Accessibility – WCAG AA contrast and full keyboard support baked into every element.

  • Velocity – reusable patterns and auto-layout rules cut design-to-dev handoff time by 40 percent.
